Design Practice Location:
In order to highlight the concept of residence in this project, the architect took inspiration from landmark residential projects such as 432 Park Avenue NYC and One Hyde Park London. The interiors were divided into two parts: a public area for socialising and an independent and secluded area for individual privacy. In the communal area, light shades of stone and warm-toned wood veneer feature. A side lobby acts as a comfortable corner and the saloon is an area for socialising; the dining room is a more modest place where the family to have dinner together. In the master bedroom the bed head and side tables are inspired by traditional Chinese furniture. In contrast, furniture by internationally-recognised brands such as Monotti, Poltrona Frau and Poliform features in the guest rooms.
