Design Practice Location:
The challenge of the brief was to ensure the project would be completed on a tight budget and three-month timeframe. Set in a Grade II listed building, this project posed a few challenges but the results left the client extremely pleased. The space has been reconfigured to change the original and only bathroom into an ensuite with bespoke joinery while a new cloakroom was introduced to serve the living area. The high ceilings allowed the designer to introduce large chandeliers and play with colours to infuse a luxury feeling in the new layout. This also created a great setting for the existing fireplaces. The original timber floor was carefully restored and stained while bespoke joinery with dark oak inserts together with the paneling now define the bedroom and bathroom spaces.
