Design Practice Location:
Hill House Interiors were briefed to create a tailored scheme for an exclusive London riverside penthouse apartment, incorporating Hill House’s signature glamour, comfort and quality, seamlessly blended with the owner’s own striking objet d’art, artefacts and majestic Persian rugs.
The end result is an opulent mélange of the most luxurious of materials and furnishings, with suppliers including Cornelio Cappellini, Ipe Cavalli, Rubelli, Hermes, Schumacher, Lizzo, and, of course, bespoke cabinetry and pieces from Hill House’s own growing furniture collection.
The elegant Hill House design signature is apparent throughout the home, with living spaces flowing effortlessly from one room to the next.
A drumroll to the luxury beyond, the entrance hall has smooth marble floors, juxtaposed with beautifully crafted cabinetry, specially designed by Hill House Interiors. With a sophisticated palette of pastels, ranging from silvery dove greys, creamy lattès to the palest mimosa, sensitively partnering the subtle hues of the owner’s exquisite Persian rug , the living space features a bespoke art deco inspired mirrored cabinet and TV unit. There are 2 deep buttoned classic contemporary floating sofas and 2 arm chairs, all by Ipe Cavalli, upholstered in sumptuous butter-soft Italian leather, and a 10-seater pedestal Murano glass dining table.
Of equal importance is the al fresco living space, which leads into a dedicated shisha out-room, a feature which was at the top of the client’s wish list. Complete with focal point backlit quartz bar, the room comes in tones of shocking Schiaparelli pink and deep purple, reprising the hues of the client’s own metallic butterfly sculpture, mounted above the sofa.
Paramount attention has been paid to the each of the 5 bedrooms suites, which all have the feel and specification of a 7 star luxury hotel.
