Design Practice Location:
The overall design is a consummate demonstration of the power of elegance and tranquility. Understated Chinese elements are combined with representations of Chengdu culture and lifestyle. Natural stones enhances the sense of elegance in the space while the symmetrical structures and displays as well as the wood and bamboo decorations exude Chinese charm and ceremonial beauty. The townhouse has two floors underground, three floors above ground and a rooftop garden. To ensure visual appeal, the conventional two-storey ground floor living room has been replaced by a bay to create a sense of spaciousness and comfort; the floors have made clever use of lighting. The master bedroom on the third floor is the highlight of the house; it features light all-wood veneers. The succinct and bright wood screens, trendy yet solid furniture and warm lighting help support a feeling of warmth, comfort and elegance.
