Design Practice Location:
When set the brief to create an ‘Experience of The Future for McDonald’s’ the design team jumped at the chance and created a completely fresh and unique look. A limited time of five-to-six weeks was given to the team for designing and documenting the concept. Using its knowledge of the market, the designers looked ahead in order to create a new tonal look and feel for the brand. To differentiate the design from any previous palette, a completely unique series of furniture pieces and components was designed and developed. Among the issues addressed is the need for recycling and recharging facilities for customers and their devices. The end result is a light, contemporary, tonally fresh interior space and new palette for the future development of McDonald’s restaurants in the global market.
