Design Practice Location:
With an emphasis on living among nature, the designer integrated fundamental elements such as sun, air and water to bring the building back to its most original and primitive form. The curved design in the middle of the facade contrasts with and sets off the square area formed by the eaves. Inside, the muted space contains wood wall veneers, wooden floors, marbles, and grey mirrors. The designer has created a calm and warm interior which ingeniously contrasts with the bright, white outer space. A large construction model at the centre of the interior acts as a reception area and also serves as a focus for the open space. At the inner side of the arced wall, the cozy couch, open meeting area and visual-penetrative screen create a lively atmosphere. The delicate details, warm lights and mixture of wood and rock used for the bathroom and bar spaces create a feeling of prestige and warmth.
