Lilian H. Weinreich Architects reimagined this historic four-story Bedford Street Brownstone in Manhattan’s coveted West Village and High Q Renders developed the CGI’s. The renovation transforms the multi-dwelling condominium into a three-bedroom residence with a spirited materials palate and sumptuous program for living, entertaining, and displaying contemporary art. An artful play of light and shadow begins at the townhouse entrance vestibule: backlit glass staircase walls, full-height window walls, hidden light wells, walkable skylights, and whimsical Ingo Maurer light fixtures seamlessly integrate into the architecture.

The parlor level houses the formal entry, lounge, library, and bar. The garden level’s open kitchen features all the culinary accoutrements to prepare a feast and a sixteen-foot cantilevered island. The third and fourth floor house private spaces. The master bedroom includes access to a rooftop deck with outdoor kitchen island, bar, and sink. The master bath features a Japanese-style soaking tub, glass panelled shower, custom wall-hung marble vanity, and radiant heat flooring.
