The project is located at the eastern end of Chongming Island and is the connection point between Chongming Island and Shanghai, with a good ecological environment. Matrix’s design is based on the principle of “let it be.”

Matrix uses modern design techniques to metaphor Chinese traditions, and builds a courtyard cultural experience hall in an oriental context, harmoniously integrating the living needs of modern people into local nature and culture on the basis of respect for natural scenery. The overall design of the project is based on a natural and simple style. The use of natural wood is the design highlight. Light is the best filter. Matrix makes full use of the expressive power of light to integrate the outside scene into the space to create a natural world.
