Design Practice Location:
The front entrance is decorated with bountiful curves that artistically evoke the beauty of the Chinese landscape, with the use of elegant lines and cool stone. Visitors love the view from the large hall, thanks to the vast floor-to-ceiling windows. The red installation art, in the posture of a running man, is beguiling while the huge, sleek chandelier brings additional character to the space. Glamourous lighting creates a dreamlike impression, where undulating figures obscure the boundary between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The walls are embellished with depictions of the natural landscape of Chongqing City to highlight the cultural and aesthetic charisma of the space. Sculptures harmonise with the decorative themes, including a bronze artwork by the influential Mexican sculptor Jorge Marin. This amazing sculpture signifies the endless circle of life, while at the same time enhancing the aesthetic appeal of this space.
