Stonehill Taylor, in collaboration with Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Linda Marcus Design, and One Design designed the public spaces of the new Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel into a multi-hyphenated immersive arts destination. Once a convention hotel, the new arts hotel is one of the first in the US to showcase regional national and international artists, as well as performing and fine arts. Drawing inspiration from Saint Catherine, the patron of the arts, the hotel embodies art in its many forms.

The design team blended Milwaukee’s renowned arts institutions and cultural heritage into this creatively bold hotel. Upon entry, guests are welcomed by many museum grade contemporary artworks and sculpture – artists were only given the direction to create works for very specific locations within the property. The 219-room hotel includes 11,597-square-feet of flexible meeting and event space, and features five unique culinary experiences.
