Approaching the design of this home required thoughtful consideration to balance the brief of creating luxury spaces whilst also redefining the functionality of different rooms within the home – the living room, bathroom, and guest bedroom- to craft a design that was a perfect balance between contemporary and timeless. The studio team, under the direction of Rachel Usher, felt that allowing the existing architecture to breathe and remain prominent should be an important element of the final outcome. Allowing this resonation to lead the design, Rachel and her team curated an environment that demonstrated strength and also simplicity, understanding that opulence can be successfully harnessed from precise detailing and tactility.
